Chris Carr
Executive Director & Founder
Chris Carr brings more than 30 years of experience as a professional athlete, coach, mentor, and leader to ISM Basketball Academy.
Following an accomplished NBA career with the Phoenix Suns, Minnesota Timberwolves, New Jersey Nets, Golden State Warriors, and Chicago Bulls, as well as several seasons playing professionally overseas, Carr dedicated his career to developing the next generation of basketball players.
As a coach and mentor, Carr has helped more than 77 student-athletes earn college scholarships, with 27 advancing to professional basketball. His experience spans collegiate men’s and women’s basketball, elite player development, and leadership training, giving him a unique perspective on what it takes to succeed both on and off the court.
As Founder and Executive Director of ISM Basketball Academy, Carr is building a program centered on discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement while preparing student- athletes to compete at the highest levels and succeed long after their playing careers.
